Every Sunday Night: Unexpected Company

The Warwick Museum of Art proudly presents Unexpected Company, Rhode Island's premier long-form improvisational comedy group, every Sunday night at 7:17 PM.
Unexpected Company, Rhode Island's most acclaimed long-form improvisation troupe, performs "The Morris", a structured, fast-paced long-form comedy piece connected by monologues. Based at the Warwick Museum of Art, Unexpected Company is the only troupe in the state strictly dedicated to long-form improv.

Called "a breath of fresh air" by the Providence Phoenix, this young company has been performing weekly since March of 2003, and has introduced thousands to an art form rarely seen in Rhode Island. The Providence Journal simply describes Unexpected Company as "Pure Improv" and Rhode Island Monthly magazine explains "Unexpected Company is a group dedicated to the oft challenging art of long-form improvisational comedy. No costumes, no lines, no scripts. With a single word suggestion from the audience, the group is off on a riotous skit that lasts forty minutes. The cast keeps each other on their toes, and the audience gets taken along for the ride.

Unexpected Company is held in the main exhibition gallery and admission is $5.00.
Suggested for mature audiences.
